In 2019, ECWR built our Navarre campus, where we provide critical rehabilitation care to sick, injured, and orphaned native Florida wildlife in our Medical Center, and environmental education programs to people of all ages in our Education Center! By purchasing a brick, which will be placed in the pathway that connects the education and medical center, you are helping us achieve our mission of education, conservation, and rehabilitation for the welfare of Florida's natural fauna. 4x8in. bricks (as seen above) are $75 and 8x8in. bricks are $150. IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution

To qualify:

  • You must be 70 & 1/2 or older at the time of the gift

  • Distributions must be made directly from a non-Roth IRA account by your IRA administrator to the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge

  • Gifts must be outright, meaning they go directly to the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge

  • Distributions to donor-advised funds or life-income arrangements such as charitable remainder trusts and charitable gift annuities do not qualify

  • Gifts from 401k, 403b, SEP and other plans do not qualify. Ask your financial advisor if it would make sense for you to create a traditional IRA account so you can benefit from an IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution
