WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT

Check out our Education Center and meet our Animal Ambassadors!

Our Education Center is currently being remodeled to include exhibits that focus on our main education pillars: Rehabilitation, Coexistence, Native vs. Invasive Species, Biodiversity, and our Marine Mammal Stranding Program.

Most of our ambassador animals are located outside! Our path is sandy, with limited shade near most of the animals themselves (you can take a break from the heat on one of the benches in our shaded memorial garden). If you're visiting during the hot summer months, we recommend sunscreen and closed-toe shoes!

With only 13 ambassadors across 11 species, we are small but mighty at ECWR! We are proud  of our mission, and honored to offer a glimpse into the world of Florida's native wildlife.

Visits to ECWR during our open hours are self-guided, but our staff and volunteers are always available to answer any questions you may have!

After completing your tour, make sure you stop by our unique gift shop! All proceeds help us continue our wildlife saving mission. You can shop our t-shirts online by clicking the button below!
