Shell yeah, it’s sea turtle time! Join us for a fun evening all about the amazing sea turtles of the Gulf Coast—from tiny hatchlings to ocean adventurers. Learn about their wild lives, the challenges they face, and how you can help protect them (especially during nesting season!).

About the event

Dive into the world of sea turtles with a special evening edition of our Night Owl Series! Join us as we explore the incredible lives of these ocean travelers—from tiny hatchlings making their journey to the sea to the challenges they face in our coastal waters.

Learn about the sea turtle species found right here along the Gulf Coast, their fascinating life cycles, and how you can help protect them during nesting season and beyond. It’s a perfect mix of education, conservation, and a little nighttime magic!

Bring your friends, your family, or just your curiosity for an evening of learning and adventure at the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge!

Education and Medical Facility
If you arrive to drop off an animal between 8 am - 4 pm, but when our Education Center is closed, you will need to call at the gate. We will then have someone assist you.
