About the event

Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge is hosting an Earth Day Celebration on April 16th, 2022!  Looking for a laid back way to celebrate our native wildlife, learn  about sustainability, and get up close and personal with some of our  animal ambassadors with your friends and family? Our Earth Day Celebration will have arts and crafts activities, training  demonstrations with some of our ambassadors, interaction opportunities  with other ambassadors such as our Gopher Tortoise “Landlord”, and more.   Special event admission will be $5 per person (except for children 2  and under, who are always free).   Our Earth Day Celebration will  happen rain or shine and will have stations set up to learn about our  marine mammals, recycling, wildlife rehabilitation, and how citizens can  make a difference in their own communities. ECWR’s Earth Day  Celebration will start at 9:00 am and end at 3:00 pm with our timed  demonstrations occurring every half hour.…
