Community Support Day

Community  Support Days are the perfect short-term opportunity for families,  individuals, and companies to earn some extra volunteering hours. There's no orientation or requirements to participate, other than signing up ahead of time! Assignments are not focused around animal care, but instead are more directed toward maintenance, gardening, special projects, and handy work.

We do limit the number of interested citizens or groups involved, to ensure no oversaturation of tasks.  After tasks are completed, a more advanced property tour is given to volunteers of the day if they are interested.

Due to the tasks of the event, we generally only accept volunteers 18 years or older. We are now opening this up to also include 13 -17 years old.  A parent must be present and sign a minor release form. The parent doesn’t have to participate in the community day but they must remain on the property.
